The unfortunate truth is that scams happen. Here are some important do’s and don’ts from FASTA to ensure you remain vigilant and avoid scams:

We Will Never:

• We will never complete a loan application on your behalf, or ask a third party to do this for you. Our process is completely automated and self service
• We do not have branches, and we will never send anyone to your neighbourhood to ask you to apply for a loan
• We will never ask you to pay a fee upfront in order to get a loan
• We will never “overpay” a loan amount into your account. 
• We will never ask you to provide your internet banking login details over text, WhatsApp or email.

We Do Not:

• We do not finance mobile phone upgrades with MTN, Vodacom, Cell C or Telkom – these providers own their devices and do not finance them through credit providers on your behalf
• Do not ever accept a DebiCheck mandate unless you have specifically applied for a loan with FASTA via our website
• Do not provide your personal information over WhatsApp, email, SMS or telephone unless you have verified that you are speaking to FASTA. Our channels are all verified and published on our website
